Toddler Group as a Collectivity

چکیده
The aim of this study is to examine the everyday life day-care institutions and culture peer relationships that develop there. Interdisciplinary studies childhood perceive it as a social construct separable from biological immaturity, they describe distinct toddler style socialisation with peers. In paradigm, participation in cultural routines central understanding child socialisation. Based on ethnographic observations two facilities interviews teachers parents, we explore between peers, routines, creation collectivity. We focus perspective adults their perception children's collective meanings interactions. analyses reveal well socialising hierarchical also actively participate reproduction through interpretation meanings. What constitutes 'play' when becomes 'something real' occurs physical cognitive equals. Interaction peers facility allows experience 'WE', which are then able control adults. However, collectivity depends being conditions place suitable for small children toddlers.

An infant and toddler feeding group program.
At Children's Medical Center of Dayton, Ohio, several children whose early oral feedings were delayed or especially difficult due to physical problems became resistant and exhibited aversive behaviors when oral feeding was introduced. A support group, which lasted for 9 months, was initiated with six of these children and their families. In the group, professionals provided the families with ge...

In biological function emerges from the interactions of components with only partially aligned interests. An example is the brain-a large aggregation of neurons capable of producing unitary, coherent output. A theory for how such aggregations produce coherent output remains elusive. A first question we might ask is how collective is the behavior of the components? Here we introduce two properti...
متن کاملMagnetic moments of K isomers as indicators of octupole collectivity
The relation between the quadrupole-octupole deformation and the structure of high-K isomers in heavy even-even nuclei is studied through a reflection asymmetric deformed shell model including a BCS procedure with constant pairing interaction. Two-quasiparticle states with Kπ = 4−, 5−, 6−, 6 and 7− are considered in the region of actinide nuclei (U, Pu and Cm) and rare-earth nuclei (Nd, Sm and ...

Two important pieces of nuclear structure are many-body collective deformations and single-particle spin-orbit splitting. The former can be well-described microscopically by simple SU(3) irreps, but the latter mixes SU(3) irreps, which presents a challenge for large-scale, ab initio calculations on fast modern computers. Nonetheless, SU(3)-like phenomenology remains even in the face of strong m...

The energy and reduced transition probability B(E2; Oz, + 2+) for the lowest excited state in the neutron-rich isotope $$ls were measured by intermediate-energy Coulomb excitation. The excitation energy is E(Z+) = 1297( 18) keV and the reduced transition probability is B(E2;0?& + 2:) = 314(M) e2fm4. The experimental results are compared with self-consistent mean-field calculations and shell mod...
